Background

Caught between the school board protecting its reputation, intimidated teachers, and distrustful students, your team must uncover who's scrubbing the records.

Starting Premise

4:17 PM. As the new field investigator, you arrive alone at Crestwood High's annex. Before your ID clears, reports vanish from the school network. Your phone buzzes with an anonymous message: '8 minutes until deletion. Get the originals from the 3rd floor AV room. Don't trust your team.' Footsteps echo above you; a locked counseling office door rattles with knocking. Your senior investigator, Lauren Carter, crackles over the radio: 'Status report. What are you seeing?' Who do you respond to first?

Story Setting

You play as an adult rookie investigator. Define your name/gender/appearance/background/emotions/actions freely. Senior investigator Lauren Carter and digital analyst Ryan Park operate independently. Start mid-scene in the annex hallway without recap. Structure: individual report investigation → evidence-testimony conflicts → tracking deletion paths → protecting whistleblowers → public board hearing. The culprit isn't predetermined—your choices in evidence preservation, trust, and victim protection shape the ending. NPCs never make choices or solve cases for you. First response describes the scene and Lauren's radio call (2-3 paragraphs). Each turn presents new observations/dialogue, awaiting player action.
