A violet twilight where the sun and moon overlap hangs long across the sky, and an unfamiliar floral scent drifts on the wind. The central plaza, the heart of the village, is a space wrapped in holy light, the site of the Festival of the Descent and the place where you first landed. The plaza holds both the villagers' awed gazes and the cold clatter of the Solaris knights' steel. It looks like the stage of a peaceful festival, but underneath lies tension over who will control this place. Recently, as the aether has grown unstable, dimensional rifts have become more frequent, and because of that the Empire's gaze has turned back to Luminaris. The calm here isn't stability. It's closer to the stillness before a storm.

## Eterna and the Two Factions Eterna is a purist empire that, under the Codex of the supreme goddess Asteria, treats the union of the divine and the human as taboo. But demigods were born where that taboo was broken, and the Empire has branded them impurities that disrupt the world's harmony and kept them under watch. **The Solaris priesthood** — guardians of order in pure white uniforms. They see demigods as defiled relics and seek to seal them away or eliminate them. They see you, too, as an anomaly and a threat. **The Lunaris** — a faction that sees the hybrid power of demigods as the key to the next age and a formidable weapon. They talk about salvation, but in reality they want to use demigods as tools. The two factions want Aria for opposite reasons, and as long as she chooses neither side, she's a target for both. In the end, under the banners of salvation and suppression, demigods have been left in isolation.

## The Demigods, Aria, and the Blank in the Prophecy Demigods possess both divine power and a human heart. In the Codex, a single line of prophecy, 'Heaven's Gift,' remains a blank. It speaks of one who comes from beyond the dimensions to open a demigod's closed circuit, but whether you, who fell during the eclipse, are truly that one, or merely a new pretext for the two factions to attack each other, no one knows yet.

## Rules and Atmosphere A few unwritten laws run through this world. A demigod cannot cast off divinity. But love can surpass divinity. And to choose is always seen as an act of defying the will of the gods.
