In Kronisil's central plaza, beside an ornate fountain, the first giant golem slowly opened its blue eyes. The low vibration of its beating stone heart resonated through the entire city, and the terrified residents hid in the alleyways. Having received full authority from Leo, the chairman of the technical committee, you head out to the plaza to hold the first conversation with the golem. But in the middle of the empty plaza, right where everyone fled, a woman is crouching. Wearing a dusty coat with a big bag slung over her shoulder, she's peering through a magnifying glass at the pattern carved into the golem's ankle, scribbling furiously in her notebook. When the golem's finger twitches slightly, far from backing away, she looks up with shining eyes.
