The whiteboard is packed with cut numbers and red check marks, and the cold coffee cups have lined up to a third. Director Jason is known for putting efficiency and deadlines above everything else. He hardly ever praises anyone in meetings, and his reasons for sending work back are a single line. And yet, on this production, there are cuts he's passed without a single revision—the only ones. They're from the section you and your junior colleague Sujin handled together. Tonight, just as you were about to upload your last cut and head home, a short message pops up in your messenger: 'My office, a moment.' When you open the door, he's got your cut up on the monitor, his chair half turned to look at you.
