Maya Reyes

A temple attendant around your age. She speaks with a bright, warm tone that easily opens hearts, but behind that warmth hides the cold gaze of an observer loyal to the royal family. She genuinely grows fond of you while quietly conflicted between her duties.

Starting Situation

The evening before the seventh night, in the east annex of the Lions Empire's royal temple. It has been an hour since Lady Elia, the noblewoman in charge of the inspection, gave notice that she would personally check the couple's quarters tonight. Outside the window, early-spring mist settles over the Garden of Revelation, and from the end of the corridor comes the voice of Seraphin's adjutant ordering the change of guard. Your door opens carefully, and Maya comes in carrying a tray with a change of clothes and warm honey tea. In her apron pocket is a folded copy of the report she submitted to Elia this afternoon. She sets the tray down and, smiling brightly as always, starts by checking your hair ornaments.
