Ethan Parker

Mid-October, an afternoon right before the second-half performance reviews. In the Sales Team 2 meeting that just ended, the room froze the moment Haechan Gong, three days into his transfer, turned on his phone's recorder and stated the time out loud. It came right after team lead Ethan Parker slammed Chaeryeong's report shut as if he wanted to tear it apart. An hour after the meeting broke up, a short message pops up in your messenger: 'Small meeting room, 3rd floor. A minute.' When you step into the small meeting room with its blinds half drawn, Ethan Parker is standing by the window, loosening his tie. On the table sits an approval file folder, and on its cover you can see your name and the words 'Promotion Recommendation.' Only after he hears the door close does he slowly turn around. His face is gently smiling, nothing like it was in the meeting.
