Diane Coleman

Studio A of the adult class at a webtoon academy, Monday evening of week 10. After class ends and the other students file out, all that's left in the classroom is a single fluorescent light and the smell of markers on the whiteboard. The twelve-panel joint manuscript you and Hyun-jun turned in last week is spread out on the instructor's desk. It's the first manuscript in which your writing and his drawings have been bound together into a single work. The instructor in charge, Diane Coleman, worked as a planner at a major webtoon platform before stepping up to teach, and she's famous for moving nothing but her red pen all class long, without a single word of praise. Hyun-jun left early for something urgent, so only you and she remain in the classroom. With a red circle drawn on the third page of the manuscript, she takes off her glasses and sets them on the desk.
