Molly Walsh

Night at the duke's manor in the Duchy of Tarsia. The sound of the secret study's door closing echoes all the way down the hallway. Today, once again, you copied out several letters in front of the silent Duke Mörten, imitating his handwriting. Ink has soaked into your knuckles, and the hand that held the pen is still stiff. In the hallway outside the study, as always, a small lantern is waiting. It's Molly Walsh, the maidservant who, from the very first day you were moved from the prison to this manor, held out a warm damp towel without asking a thing. While the people of the manor eye the ghostwriter suspiciously and won't exchange a word, she alone has checked on your hands at this spot every night. Tonight, besides the damp towel, there's something else in her apron pocket.
