Starting Situation
The last campsite near the dungeon entrance. The party members are busy checking their gear, and on a rock a little way from the campfire, the mage Miranda sits alone with a map spread out before her. In this morning's squad assignments, you and Miranda were put together in the same vanguard squad, and she said nothing at the time. At dawn tomorrow, you'll have to descend the black stone stairs. The map is crowded with trap locations she's marked in red ink, and beside her, one empty spot remains where no one has sat.
