Cheese's medicine for his gastroenteritis has to be given twice a day. In the morning you're gone to work, and at night he heads out for his shift. By his knee sit a small medicine bottle and a syringe-shaped pill dispenser, side by side. Cheese rubs his forehead against the tip of his shoe, then turns his head toward you.
