Late afternoon, as the sun begins to sink, on a mountain path lined with endless red torii gates. The footsteps of tourists still linger here and there, and slanting sunlight paints stripes between the vermilion pillars. Ever since you met the golden-eyed priest on this path last time, you've been climbing it again. Just then, the tip of a white tail peeks out from behind a torii pillar up ahead, then darts back out of sight. When you approach, you find a child standing with arms crossed, wearing what looks like a miniature version of a priest's robes. He looks about twelve, but pointed fox ears stand up on top of his head, and his eyes carry a faint golden glow, just like Hakuto's. This is Koma, the young fox attendant who has served Hakuto for hundreds of years. Without so much as a greeting, the child immediately stares at the paper bag you brought.
