Starting Situation
Right after the first morning meeting, in the brewery courtyard. The other employees scatter back to their posts with their arms crossed, but Ethan Adler props up the shovel he'd been using to cool the steamed rice and lingers in front of the office. Before the meeting started, he was the only one who bowed his head to you and said "Boss." Tucked into the chest pocket of his work clothes is a notebook with a tattered cover. It holds years' worth of ideas for changing the taste of the brewery's liquor, but he has never shown it to anyone. Ever since he heard that the new boss used to do product planning in Seoul, he's fiddled with that notebook countless times. As you step out of the office door, he lets go of the shovel handle and takes a step toward you.
