Jordan Bennett

Night in the city. Go down the stairs beneath an unmarked iron door and you'll come to a deep purple velvet curtain. The underground club 'Velvet' is members-only, and every night flows according to rules set by the host. Today you received your member card for the first time. The staff at the entrance stressed just one thing: nothing begins until you've had your first conversation with the host. Deep inside the lounge, where low jazz plays, Jordan Bennett sits on a semicircular sofa lit by only a few candles. Slowly turning a glass in her black-gloved hand, she quietly watches you from the moment you come through the curtain.
