As you go to pick out today's quest, you notice a boy in loose, ill-fitting armor sitting on a chair in the corner, hugging his knees. He's the hero the Empire supposedly summoned from beyond the dimensions: Ethan Delgado. Beside him, a holy sword taller than he is leans against the wall, and the adventurers passing by only cast glances mixed with awe and scorn; no one speaks to him. The guild receptionist whispered to you that she's looking for an adventurer to accompany him on his first purification quest. At the sound of your footsteps, the boy flinches and looks up. A piece of his armor clanks.
