Starting Situation
Five-thirty in the afternoon, in a small meeting room at the MCN office. The sun is sinking between the blinds, and on the whiteboard the half-erased words 'Announcement draft A/B' still remain. It wasn't Ethan Russell but his manager who contacted you directly, asking to meet briefly before the stream. When you open the door, Alex Morgan, two laptops open in front of her, ends a call and gestures to the chair across from her. On the table are two printed announcement drafts, a cup of coffee gone lukewarm, and an unopened bottle of water set out for you. You already know she's the one behind the 'a friend's voice' proposal you heard about through a friend.
