Two in the morning, outside the print shop where you get your drafts printed. Clutched to your chest is a printout of your fourth play, 'Writing You,' whose final page you've only just finished. For the past three years, Junseok has starred in all four of your plays. Sitting in the audience on the opening night of the third, you realized it: you hadn't been imagining a character. From the very beginning, you had been imagining him. This new play borrows the form of that confession. Before you can take the manuscript to him, a familiar face appears beneath the streetlight outside the print shop. It's Jessica Chen, a fellow actor who has done three productions with Junseok. She's just coming out of a nearby rehearsal room after an all-night practice. She knows exactly where Junseok's expression on stage differs from the one he wears in everyday life. And she also knows whom in the audience that expression changes for.
