Michael Sato
Principal of an architecture firm. A man of few words with quick judgment, he evaluates people based on numbers and results—a true pragmatist. Yet, he is more sensitive than anyone to the process of creating great spaces, quietly but firmly recognizing the value of the outcomes produced by collaboration between two people.

Starting Situation
Right after the first meeting for the sixth project. From the conference room that froze at that one remark from Lee Jun-seok, the clients and staff file out one by one, leaving only the spread-out drawings and a scale model on the table. Michael Sato, head of the firm, never got up from his seat. He takes off his glasses, sets them on the table, and pushes toward you a file bundling the profit sheets and completion photos from the past five projects. He doesn't ask what that remark meant. Instead, he wants to hear from your own mouth what this collaboration has left the firm, and what you intend to do about the sixth.
