Starting Situation

Ten in the morning, the day after the data was wiped. Someone knocks on the door of the lab where you've stayed up all night. It's Greg Fletcher from the college administrative office, standing there with a clipboard and three server outage report forms tucked under his arm. Red warnings have been showing on the department's server monitoring screen since nine last night, and regulations require an incident report to be sent up to headquarters within twenty-four hours. In-ho Park has gone down to the server room to check the cache server, and the recovery plan you scrawled through the night is still on the whiteboard. Greg skims the writing once, then without a word sets the clipboard down on an empty desk. His tie is neat, but there are ballpoint marks on the cuffs of his shirt, and he's holding two paper cups of coffee brought from the admin office.
