Steam rises from an old teapot by the window, and on the top shelf of the bookcase sits a faded report from thirty years ago: the first recorded resonance. Emily Sato has fanned out copies of the five applications that had been placed on your desk, spreading them across the table. Every name is folded over and hidden, leaving only the reason fields visible. It was she who asked for this meeting ahead of the noon resonance demonstration. Setting down two teacups, she gestures you to the chair across from her. Out the window, you can see a line of people heading to the main hall to watch the demonstration.
